Good Morning! Well..between the jet lag & getting this post ready, I officially pulled an all nighter. It’s worth it though, because this is truly one of the best sales that happen. Ever. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access starts today. The early access runs from July 14th to July 21st, and allows Nordstrom debit and credit card holders to shop the sale eight days earlier than everyone else. If you’re like me & the last thing you need is another credit card, but you plan to shop the sale do yourself a favor & snag the debit card. You still reap all the reward points, & the money will come straight from that already hard earned money in your bank account. If you decide to wait to shop the sale when it’s public access, you can do so starting July 22nd-August 7th. Prices go up on the 8th so don’t delay! This is the first of several posts that you will see highlighting some of my favorite items in the sale. Act fast as a lot of the designer goodies go fast. The Anniversary Sale is the only time I ever purchase Tory Burch riding boots (& I still have all of my pairs in great condition from years ago), & the only time I purchase good jeans. Wednesday Wish List- Neutral Shoes Under $100 & Free Shipping!
Happy hump day! Today’s Wednesday Wish List is all about neutral kicks for under a hundred bucks & free shipping! I love a good neutral shoe. Not only do they help elongate your legs, but they go with absolutely anything. When I leave town wether it be for the weekend or a couple of weeks I always make sure to bring a pair of neutral sandals & wedges/heels with me. I’m actually headed back to NC today & have these sandals, & these wedges stashed in my suitcase. Bringing neutral shoes when you travel is a must so you don’t bring 10 pairs of shoes with you. Phoenix, Prescott & Sedona Trip Re-cap
Hey y’all! As you know Matt & I headed on a little adventure over the 4th, & as promised here’s a little re-cap of the things we did. We headed to Phoenix, AZ on Saturday the 2nd to buy some new wheels & hang downtown for the night. Buying a new car took a lot longer than expected, but we were able to enjoy dinner at The Arrogant Butcher in downtown Phoenix & then grabbed a cocktail at Hanny’s before hitting the sack. This romper is what I wore for our car & Phoenix adventure. It’s so comfy & was perfect for a day of running around.
We hopped in the car Sunday morning to head to Prescott, AZ for their annual Frontier Days festival & to see the oldest rodeo in the world. The festival was huge, & the rodeo was awesome. Seeing cowboys ride bulls was the highlight for me, & I can’t believe how dangerous it is. I was cringing the entire time, but still enjoyed watching! Matt & I actually had to sneak into the rodeo which may have been more exhilarating than the actual rodeo. Tickets sold out days before the rodeo even began, & we just weren’t expecting that. We were told by several Uber drivers to try going anyways so that we could possibly buy tickets from a scalper, or could maybe get in once the rodeo was about half way over. Well…neither of those happened. While walking around the parking lot there were folks practicing on their horses, & I struck up a conversation with a nice cowgirl in a practise ring. She told one of the security guards that she had passes for Matt & I in her trailer, but even that didn’t work. She then told us where to go to sneak in….so we did. Not how we wanted to get in, but I’m glad we did. It was a fun evening.

Happy Friday! You all know I love a good maxi dress, & this Banana Republic one gives me all the feels of love. It’s comfortable, flowy, has pockets & can be dressed up or down. The movement of this maxi is amazing, & it even makes me feel a little like a Greek goddess when I wear it. It passes the twirl test, & the best part is that it’s on sale right now!
