Today’s blog post is one I’m excited to share as it’s my review of the Courtyard Boston Downtown. This was our first nights stay while on a recent trip to Boston with my favorite blogger babes Stephanie Pernas, Nina Lacher and Jaime Cittadino. This hotel is right in the heart of the Theater District making it close to many great activities in Boston! We were lucky enough to be all checked in and settledby the afternoon giving us a chance to explore the hotel and catch up. I was enamored with the decor at Courtyard Boston Downtown. You know I love a pop of color, and this hotel offered just that! Every room was so fun and unique with a sophisticated modern twist. We headed down to the bar at Post No. 10 to grab some appetizers and bubbly. We shared the hummus and nachos- both which were divine and hit the spot!
I had to peek my head in the ballroom because who isn’t obsessed with chandeliers?! I’ll take one please! The details of this room were exquisite, and would be perfect for any large party or event!
The Elk Room was such a fantastic space in the hotel. You can relax by the crackling fire, or prop yourself up on the comfy windowsill on the most perfect pink cushions! Such a great place to unwind, and I enjoyed being able to take a breather in such a pretty location.
After a much needed nights rest we decided to head downstairs and grab some delicious breakfast from Post No. 10 and bring it back upstairs so we could do some work before getting our busy day started! The breakfast selection was out of this world, and my favorite was the omelet station. I got to stuff that sucker with anything I wanted and it was made for me to perfection! Not only was the lighting at the Courtyard Boston Downtown wonderful, but so were the beds. I travel a lot, and it’s hard for me to find not only a bed, but more so pillows that are comfortable to me. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, and I wish I could have taken the pillows home with me!
After breakfast we were lucky enough to be whisked away to the rooftop of the Courtyard Boston Downtown. Talk about a view!!!! We were so grateful that the friendly staff let us experience the rooftop and snap some pictures! More of this view to come in a later post, so stay tuned!
Before checking out of the Courtyard Marriot Boston we had to get in our first sightseeing portion of the trip. If you are in Boston and want the best tour it has to offer you must take a ride with the Boston Duck Tours. Y’all, this is a bus turned boat! WHAT?!?! I thought it was so cool, and this thing actually goes from the pavement straight in to the Charles River to show you some hidden gems and other views from the water. It was such a fun and informative tour, and the guides are hilarious leaving you laughing the whole time! Head to www.bostonducktours.com to book the funnest tour of your life!
We could not have not asked for a better first night with the Courtyard Boston Downtown. From the kind staff to the uniquely decorated rooms, the Courtyard Boston Downtown would be a great hotel to stay in for work, play, or a family adventure. With a little bit of something for everyone, put them on your list while in Boston!
Disclosure: In exchange for this post I received a complimentary stay at the Courtyard Boston Downtown. In exchange for a post mention I received a free Boston Duck Tour. All opinions are, and will always be my own.
