Yippie for Friday! Yesterday I was able to spend the day with my Grandpa which was really nice to have him all to myself. We had some great conversations about my Grandma, & when he was telling me stories about flying around my Grandmother in his plane he lit up. I haven’t seen him like that in a long time & it made me really happy. He said my Grandma was a great watch dog, & he did a great impression of her freaking out when she spotted two fighter planes in their sight. We also talked about time & how much it gets away with us. Take some time today to tell the people you care about that you love them as tomorrow is never promised. I love all of you & can’t thank you enough for following along on my journey. What started out as a hobby just a year ago has become something so much more & I am so grateful. I told you I’d let you know when my famous father had his next post up…& today’s the day. Thanks Dad, I love you!
So I don’t keep babbling & make my computer short from crying on it we’ll get to the outfit. When my Mom first saw this dress she said “that looks like pajamas!” “You’re going to have to do something drastic to make that look good!” Well Mom…I hope I did you proud, & thank you SO much for taking those pics for me. 🙂 This dress on the hanger does look like pajamas. Once you style the dress it looks like an outfit, but feels like pajamas! It’s also on sale for $29, so a total win win! I LOVE the plaid colors of this dress. It screams fall & winter. I decided to pair it with a striped turtleneck (I keep telling you stripes are the best way to mix prints…just like I did in yesterday’s post here) and these awesome sunglasses from Ditto. It’s designer sunglasses & eyeglasses on rotation as often as you’d like for just $24 a month. Try out your first month for FREE with no strings attached using code SALTWATER. Literally the best & most affordable way to wear designer on your face.
I’m headed to VA this weekend & apparently have to run a 10k thanks to the hubs. It’s really not that far, but considering I haven’t ran 6.2 miles straight in probably over a year it’s got me a little nervous. Wish me luck! Have a great weekend, & thanks again for all your love & support.
