Hertz Road Trip to Nantucket
Hello loves! The last several days I’ve been taking time off with my favorite Veteran since he had an extended weekend. We camped under the stars at the Grand Canyon and had such a great time. More on that trip to come, so for now let’s talk about the trip the girls and I took to Nantucket thanks to Hertz!
Ily Couture Burgundy Stripe Cape
Capes and ponchos are all the rage during fall, and this Ily Couture striped cape is perfect to throw on for casual comfort. I opted to wear this cape when we went on the Duck Boat Tour while in Boston since we’d be in open air in both a bus and a boat! It was the perfect choice when the wind hit so I could cuddle up in the poncho to keep me warm. Poncho’s are versatile and can be worn so many ways. Throw them over jeans and a tee like I did here, or pair with a dress, or skirt and top.
Grey Off the Shoulder and Burgundy Pops
Two of my favorite colors for fall are grey and burgundy. A couple of my favorite trends are off the shoulder and chokers. This off the shoulder sweater and velvet choker offer the best of both worlds. The sweater is super thick and great to keep you warm on a cool day. Plus, it’s super slouchy making it very comfortable. As you’ve seen, chokers made a huge comeback which I’m happy about. I think they’re a great accessory and I adore this velvet one.

Boston Park Plaza
Since today is the long-awaited Presidential Election I figured I’d share a positive aspect of the word “President” and talk about my experience at the Boston Park Plaza. Ever since their opening in 1927 the Boston Park Plaza has had all but two Presidents enjoy a stay at the hotel. You know you’re in the lap of luxury when you hear that!
