Hump Day!  Today’s Wednesday Wish List is all about hats perfect for fall & winter- most which are under $30!  A hat can make an outfit, & I love adding them to my wardrobe more so in the colder months.  Not only do hats provide a little bit more warmth, but I tend to wear a lot of black & grey in the fall/winter, so a hat is helpful to spice up any outfit.  Of course as you already know hats are a great accessory to sport if you don’t feel like doing your hair.  If it’s windy or rainy, static is getting to your hair, or you simply don’t feel like putting in the time to style your mane then throw on a hat!  I’ve been sporting hats for the past couple of months in my posts & will continue to!  I’m heading to WV for the first time with my husband this weekend & will definitely be taking a stack of hats with me. Happy Sunday Funday y’all!  This weekend has been a great one so far & filled with friends & family in VA.  Yesterday was spent at a pumpkin patch where there was so many fun activities.  It was my first time going to an actual pumpkin patch & it was such a neat sight.  It was also my first time seeing a pig race!  The trees are starting to be at their peak change too, so the fall foliage is beautiful right now.

Yippie for Friday!  Yesterday I was able to spend the day with my Grandpa which was really nice to have him all to myself.  We had some great conversations about my Grandma, & when he was telling me stories about flying around my Grandmother in his plane he lit up.  I haven’t seen him like that in a long time & it made me really happy.  He said my Grandma was a great watch dog, & he did a great impression of her freaking out when she spotted two fighter planes in their sight.  We also talked about time & how  much it gets away with us.  Take some time today to tell the people you care about that you love them as tomorrow is never promised.  I love all of you & can’t thank you enough for following along on my  journey.  What started out as a hobby just a year ago has become something so much more & I am so grateful.  I told you I’d let you know when my famous father had his next post up…& today’s the day.  Thanks Dad, I love you!

Wohoo for Thursday & fall poncho’s!  I warned you I would be wearing tons of poncho’s & capes this season, & I am obsessed with all of Old Navy’s .  Not only are they super affordable but there are tons of print options to suit whatever style you’re seeking.  I decided to pair this poncho with one of Old Navy’s hi/lo cacoon tee’s, & their super stretchy ponte knit leggings.  I was so comfortable from head to toe, & since it was a super windy day the fedora was a perfect addition to keep my hair in place & out of my face. Since I have a black & white vibe happening I decided to tote around this printed foldover clutch that goes pretty perfect with the poncho.  I couldn’t resist!  I’m headed to VA for the weekend & it’s going to be pretty chilly so I’ll be bringing all of these items with me to keep me warm & fashionable. Wednesday Wish List- Fall Finds Under $50

Happy Wednesday!  Fall is in full effect & today’s Wednesday Wish List is some cold weather essentials that are all under $50.  I’ll take one of each please!  You’ve seen me wear the heck out of some blanket scarves & capes/poncho’s on Instagram, & in a couple of my latest blog posts like this one & this one.  I cannot get enough of them for cold weather as they are easy to wear as an overall outfit or to simply carry with you to slip on in the event you get chilly.  I know the lip scrub is a little random to be on the list but I always use this stuff once it starts to get cold.  When I workout outside my lips especially tend to dry out in the colder months & this scrub makes them feel like new.  You are NOT supposed to eat the stuff, but it tastes good.  Disclaimer: I do not actually eat the product, but sometimes I find a tad gets in my mouth & I don’t stop it.  ðŸ™‚  The rest speaks for itself..faux fur, mittens & gloves in one, beanie with a pom pom, plaid, cutest coffee mug, multi colored hat with a bow, & reindeer slippers.  Yes x 7 (my favorite number!).  I can’t forget the striped top.  Not only does it come in 4 colors but it’s thermal & will help keep you warm.  Striped tops are a staple of mine because you can pair them with anything.  It would look great with both scarves as well as under the plaid & poncho’s.  I love pairing stripes with vests too, & as I’ve already said before stripes is one of the best ways to mix prints.  Go grab yourself some warm weather gear & enjoy your hump day!
