Happy Monday!  This weekend in DC was such a great time.  The ball was fun, but Saturday was a blast.  Matt & I double dated all day with his roommate Rob & wife Tiffany.  We left the hotel around 11:30 for brunch & spent the day exploring.  We went to several places to try different drinks & food, & went to an improv comedy show that evening which was a hoot.  It was a long day, but such a fun one…maybe a little too much fun!  ðŸ™‚

Happy Monday, & hope you had a fantastic weekend!  My husband came home for the weekend so we spent some time outdoors & had an oyster roast on Saturday with a few friends which was nice.  You know I love capes & ponchos, & this houndstooth one is one of my favorites.  The print is a classic & since it’s black & white it pretty much goes with anything.  Like with any poncho you can carry it around to keep you warm to spice up an outfit if you need some more layers, or you can wear it completely as an outfit from the get-go.  I like to have both options, so a poncho is perfect for that.  Just make sure to wear something underneath you don’t mind wearing alone if you intend to ever take the poncho off.  It’s also a great Christmas gift for someone as they are easy to wear!  Don’t forget to check out Friday’s post here if you haven’t already as it’s all about a great sale happening right now including these Tory Burch Riding Boots for 40% off which is unheard of!   Great time to snag some wonderful things for yourself or someone else, & the best time to get a jump on Christmas shopping!
