Wednesday Wish List- Big Event Sale!

Happy March y’all!  Spring is in the air which means some great sales are starting to pop up, including one that rolls around every year & is my favorite- the Shopbop sale!  This is the perfect time to scoop up some great designer essentials that you refuse to pay full price on.  I have a handful of the items that I’ve included on this wish list such as the Rebecca Minkoff Georgina Studded Sandals & Tory Burch Reva Ballet Flats,  Clare V Leopard Foldover Clutch, Ray-Ban Mirrored Classic Aviator Sunglasses, Michael Kors Watch, & Rag & Bone Boyfriend Denim Shorts.  I’ve had all of these items for several years with the exception of the studded sandals which I purchased last year when they were first released, & I will wear them just as much this year as I did last (which was basically every day)!  I’m sharing this because of the “price per wear” rule.  I use all of these items so much & because of that they need to be good quality, so I’m not ashamed of paying more in order to have something to wear over & over for years to come. Mind you I never paid full price on any of these items either, as I’m all about a good sale & will hold out for them when I know designer items are going to be discounted.  Believe me when I tell you it doesn’t happen often, so take advantage when you can.  Since these are higher quality items they are more expensive, but they will also last you a long time if you take care of them.  I’ll still be using all these staples until far after 2020 & would buy them all over again.  The limited time sale expires on March 5th, 2016, at 11:59 pm PT. Happy Leap Year & last day of February!  It was such a fun weekend spending time in Raleigh with Matt’s family.  If you follow along on Snapchat (lawrenbagley) you saw that we got a workout in at the trampoline park on Saturday & saw “The Revenant” that evening.  It is such a fantastic movie & I’m glad we saw it before the Oscars last night.  Leo definitely deserved his win, & I highly suggest seeing the movie if you haven’t.  It’s unlike any movie I’ve ever seen & so well done.

Happy Friday! Can we take a moment to ogle over this beautiful pintuck peplum blouse?  All of the colors are beyond fabulous, & I adore how the peplum portion is pintuck to give it another dimension.  There’s also little polka dots throughout the whole top, so basically this blouse is perfect.  I will be wearing the heck out of this top this Spring & Summer.  It’s so lightweight & fun, & can be dressed up or down.  It even has a skirt that matches it which can be found here.  You can give the top a different look by tucking in the peplum portion into a midi skirt or a fun pair of distressed white denim shorts like these.  Whatever you decide to wear it with will be fabulous, because this blouse is a statement in itself!

Wednesday Wishlist- Get Pinky

Guess what day it is?!  What ever happened to those commercials?  Happy hump day!  Today’s Wednesday Wish list is all about pink hues, & it’s pretty spectacular because NOTHING on today’s wish list is over $52, & EVERYTHING ships free!!!  If you’re not a fan of pink no worries, because most all of these come in a multitude of different colors. All of these pieces are perfect for Spring & Summer.  They are comfortable, fun, & I love all the different shades of pink there are.  I’m going to be honest & probably upset some folks at first when I say that I used to not like pink.  I’m talking not at all.  Hated it.  My favorite color is & will always be blue, but I don’t know what my problem was & what I was thinking when I had those horrible feelings.  I finally grew out of that stupid phase, & I’m happy to say that I love pink!  LOVE IT!  It’s such a beautiful color…all of the shades, & it’s so feminine.  Only a select amount of men can pull off wearing pink, or have to balls to even try.  I love it when they do because it’s not just for women & even men can look great in pink if they know how to properly wear it.  Pink is perfect year round, & I love wearing the bright neon pinks in the summer time.  Can’t get enough! Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend.  As I talked about last week I was caring for our neighbors dog, so Sheba & I went on a nice hike in the Croatan National Forest on Saturday.  The hike turned into a run, & 7 miles later we were back where we started.  It was really pretty & nice to be in the woods despite the ticks.  Luckily we only had to pull off two, but I don’t even want to think what it would have been like if it was warmer!  The only other person out there was some guy that was hiking around barefoot.  Kinda weird….& OW, but he seemed nice.  We ran up to Hammocks Beach State Park that evening to catch the sunset from their pier & it was beautiful.  If you followed along on Snapchat (lawrenbagley), you got to witness all of this too!  Sunday was a little more low key as the weather kinda sucked even though it wasn’t supposed to.  We still spent most of our time outdoors, but just around the house.  One thing I did learn about taking care of a dog the past several days is that I want one now more than ever, but that it’s also probably the worst idea.  I always felt so bad leaving Sheba that I basically treated her like she was a child of mine.  I sacrificed my sleep & life so I could make hers better.  I’m pitiful.  Enough about the weekend & dogs.
